Hey! I’m Haze Mac, I established Blueberry bangs in 2016 and up to this point I had worked in so many places who’s values and ethos were completely opposite to mine. Businesses without any soul that didn’t care about their clients and team… I needed to break away and set a new standard in creativity and experience.

A happy environment for my clients with second to none service with their needs at the heart of it all. Don’t get me wrong, I didn’t take this leap overnight. After juggling my hairdressing with lots of education, gaining a certificate in teaching and an assessor’s award and also gaining a degree in hair and makeup media, not to mention bringing up two boys, I finally gained the confidence to get out there on my own! From the first moment I had the idea of my own salon I knew what my vision was …. The team, the products and the experience. 

From the very start I had a strong vision of what I wanted to achieve:  a fabulous team, first class hair products and a superb experience for our clients.

My team mean EVERYTHING to me! Each and every one of them give 1000000% to Blueberry Bangs and I encourage them to express their creativity and individuality. Their dedication is rewarded by top quality education to nurture their talents in an incredibly supportive atmosphere. There’s no uniform and no hierarchy in our salon – we have a co-operative approach where everyone’s ideas and opinions are taken on board.  Because of our mutual respect for each other’s talents, we’ve taken our salon from strength to strength.
